INFLAMMATION
What Causes It

Good health is always starts with good nutrition, exercise, and stress management. By apply nutritional strategies to our lives we can minimize the damage done by inflammation, glycation, and oxidative stress. Above all if you have chronic inflammation consult your physician.

The Inflammation Problem

Increasingly there is a body of evidence that suggest a critical link between all disease(s) and inflammation and chronic inflammation. How do you know if you have inflammation? Do you have body aches and pains? Are you overweight? Do you feel you are aging more rapidly than your peer group? Do you feel fatigue often? Are you over-stressed? If you answered yes to any of those questions, chances are you are suffering from inflammation and perhaps even chronic inflammation.

FACT: Did you know arhritis is nothing more or less than inflammation in the joints. Anywhere there is pain there is typically inflammation!

Scientist are rapidly acknowledging the role of inflammation and its role in metabolic problems, accelerated aging, serious health threats, and obesity. If that were not bad enough, we are finding today’s children are suffering from being overweight and conditions such as Type II Diabetes is on the rise not only in adults but increasingly in children.

What is Inflammation

Inflammation is the immune system’s response to infection or irritation. It exist over a wide spectrum of responses. At the extreme end, it causes visible swelling and redness, such as an injured ankle or sunburn. This is acute inflammation. On the other end, we feel it but cannot see it such as sore muscles or even constipation. This is referred to as chronic inflammation. More often than not, low-grade inflammation can linger over a long-period of time. Traditional medical care will treat the symptom not the cause and sometimes for good reason. Low grade inflammation can be invisible even to a microscope, but can usually be detected through chemical test using special instruments.

As supplements have advanced in their application, most of the sub-clinical conditions can effectively be treated with good health practices including diet, exercise, stress management (salt baths, massages, yoga, etc) and good supplements!

What Causes Inflammation

If inflammation is so bad, why can’t you just go out and take an ibuprofen and all your problems go away. You’d lose weight, stop wrinkling, and be free of aches and pains.

Unfortunately, inflammation is not a one-time event. Our bodies are under constant barrage of things that cause inflammation. For example, eating a bag of potato chips where the one result is your body’s attempt to grow more fat cells and thus producing more inflammatory responses. In other words to simply the whole process, our cells react to the way they are treated. If we stump our toe, breath the wrong air, or eat the wrong thing –our body reacts. Even under the best circumstances, inflammation response is part of the natural biology of life. We can eliminate too much sun, high-glycemic sugars and starches, and help improve our inflammation deviations. If we mistreat our cells on a regular basis, we will end up with a cascading decline in health, including organ failures, disease, and metabolic disorders like Diabetes and Syndrome X –and increasingly a host of auto-immune diseases much less the dreaded cancers and cardio-vascular disease.

Natural Biology believes a good supplement begins with the careful selection of each micro-nutrient - and then is formulated into a "bio-balanced" formula to offer improved absorption and utilization. We call it the 100% Pure and Natural Advantage.
